Day 38

It's like the watched pot that never boils! Walk away for a couple of weeks and return to see how the garden has grown. I'll have to conjure up some potato salad this weekend and throw in some of that fresh dill. Or perhaps I'll make meatballs and use a handful of the lovely basil and a spot of mint tea. Care to join me?

  1. The basil looks perfect! Very jealous of your winter bounty! ;-)

(PS: I laughed out loud in our mail room when I read the note from Kennedit's Chief Financial Officer. Thank you! Without you, I'd buy fewer groceries and have nothing to laugh to myself about in a public space.)

  2. Looks good. In this dreary mid-winter, it's nice to see something green and growing.

  3. The meatballs adorned a plate of spaghetti and homemade sauce last night and the presence of fresh basil and parsley were most enticing.

Matt asked if the herbs grown in the AreoGarden method were as potent as those grown in my outdoor raised bed herb garden. Great question to ponder. To be honest, I didn't discern a difference.
